Josiah Bokma

Director. Coach. Teacher.

Josiah has a passion to see the church and its leaders thrive in whole life discipleship to Jesus. He has an M.Div from Tyndale Seminary and 15+ years of varied ministry experience - from global missions to campus ministry, adjunct teaching to parish ministry. In Uganda and Nicaragua, he worked with local church leaders to establish a local training network and taught courses on leadership, discipleship and discernment. He was the chaplain at Redeemer University for 7 years, where he initiated a student discipleship movement and was an adjunct instructor in Religion and Ministry. Josiah loves to help church leaders architect and catalyze discipleship in their communities through coaching, workshops and consulting. He is also passionate about activating and equipping churches in the practice of personal and corporate discernment, along with supporting leaders in transition, emotional health, ongoing development and shaping organizational culture. Josiah and his family live in Caledonia, Ontario.

Shawn Groen

Counsellor. Workshop Facilitator.

Shawn is a registered psychotherapist and owner of Sycamore Counselling Centre, where he works as a therapist, speaker, and workshop facilitator.  Shawn works with individuals and couples addressing relational and spiritual issues.  He has developed a niche practice in supporting pastors, clergy and church leaders through individual counselling, community workshops, and consultation. When you meet him, you’ll discover a few things. He is down-to-earth and relatable. He is not afraid to work hard. He is warm, calming, and only a moment away from a good laugh and finding humour in the middle of life’s darkness. Shawn is more than his career, and has many interests that keep him busy outside of the office.  He is a husband, and dad to four kiddos in Hamilton, Ontario.  He produces maple syrup every spring (with much help from family and friends).  He is an avid runner and always has a book on the go.  And - believe it or not - he is a small-engine mechanic by trade.

Nikki Fletcher

Teacher. Worship Leader. Coach.

Nikki Fletcher is a lifelong learner, and passionate apprentice of Jesus. She is a member of the BEd Faculty at Tyndale University in Toronto, Canada, teaching Environmental Education through a Biblical lens. She has been a Worship Leader for over 20 years, discipling teams, educating emerging leaders and writing music to give the church a prophetic voice in each new season. Whether writing, building curriculum, or making disciples, she is biblically-rooted, people-centered & research-based. You can often find her listening to commentaries, making bread, or exploring the Bruce trail with her husband and three young children.

Diane Albert

Spiritual Director. Teacher.

Diane is ordained and has been in ministry for over 20 years with extensive experience in cross-cultural, international missions. Diane has been actively mentoring, discipling, and teaching people throughout her ministry. Her formal training in Spiritual Direction is with Emmaus Formation Centre.  She and her husband, Widmark, along with their two married children and their four grandchildren, live in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Matt Pamplin

Coach. Teacher. Spiritual Director.

Matt Pamplin was born and raised in England where he developed a love for Christ as well as a love for football. While in England Matt spent 8 years working as a missionary with Youth With a Mission. He discipled young people from all over the world and he also ran a local youth ministry team. Matt moved to Canada to marry his wife, Jennifer, in 2003. Several years after arriving in Canada, Matt found himself working in the Student Life Department at Redeemer University. From there he was hired by a local church for a position called People Development. He then became the co-lead pastor for several years. In 2014 Matt planted a church in downtown Hamilton. He passed on his leadership in the church and continues to attend this church as a parishioner. Matt currently works part time for Vision Ministries, and home schools one of his children. Matt lives in Hamilton, Ontario with his wife and three children.

Andy Groen

Teacher. Spiritual Director.

Andy Groen (M.Div) wears many hats: husband, father, Executive Director of Greater Ontario House of Prayer (GOHOP) and small-business owner. As a "comtemplative-charismacademic", Andy is a student of the rich diversity of Christian traditions and has grown and benefitted from a variety of teachers and mentors in the school of prayer. Andy trained as a spiritual director in Tyndale Seminary’s Spiritual Formation program and has over 10 years of experience helping others grow in their relationship with Jesus. Andy and his family live in the Sherman neighbourhood in Hamilton, Ontario.
