Sharpen Your Discernment

We all long to follow the Holy Spirit's guidance, but can get stuck in the 'how.'
Our team equips leaders and teams in the postures, practices and process of clear discernment and courageous response.

Facilitated Discernment Process

Experience the Spirit's leadership as a  member of our team guides your leadership and community through a  discernment process that follows the biblical model of 2 Chron 20. Through it, you will be able to clearly discern the Lord's leading and courageously step forward into His future.

Prayer Retreat

Prayer and strategy come together in this 1 day retreat designed for leaders to listen to the Lord together as a team and prepare for the next season of ministry. Morning times of prayer and discernment lead into afternoon sessions of preparing and planning.

Discernment Coaching

We were meant to make decisions that "seem good to us and the Holy Spirit." Strengthen your personal and communal postures and practices of discernment through our coaching sessions.  You'll learn to hear God's voice with greater confidence and clarity.

"Our time with Emmaus was nothing short of transformative. As a church, we were seeking a way to reconnect with our vision and deepen our sense of purpose, and Emmaus provided exactly that. Through guided reflections and intentional exercises, we were able to connect meaningfully with one another in ways we hadn't experienced before. The space Josiah created allowed us to be vulnerable, to share openly, and to dream together about the future of our ministry. It wasn’t just about making plans or setting goals—it was about aligning our hearts with God’s will and discerning His direction for our church. We left the retreat refreshed, unified and freshly in tune with God's call on our church.  Our retreat with Emmaus was close to two years ago now  - today we look back on it as a milestone in the history of our church."
